Another good summary of financial crisis

Jim Manzi gives us his take. As I've read a ton of articles about all this mess, this was one of the more interesting and big picture articles.

  1. David, what's up man? Stover here. Something brought you to mind tonight, so I googled you to find your blog. Good stuff. Hope you're doing well man. I'm thinking about starting a blog, but afraid if I do the floodgates will open and I'll spend hours reading blogs when I should be doing school work. At any rate, I feel like it's a great way to stay up on friends' lives. I almost feel like we've had a conversation! Anyways, keep it up brotha, and if you're ever on the west coast, look me up.

  2. Stover
Good to hear from you. And I appreciate the encouragement. On the blog issue, it's good you're thinking about it that way. It definitely can become time consuming, but know you don't have to become a full-fledged blogger consumed by hundreds of blogs. And you're right, I'm glad a few of my friends have blogs, becuase it helps me stay in tune with what's going on with them. (Check out Google Reader if you're checking a handful of blogs. It drastically cuts down on your time going to the different blogs you read if they don't update frequently). A helpful hint if you do start one, think of an objective. Or, in other words, think of a target audience that you want to update/impact.

I hope you enjoying Biola(?). Talk to you later.

Thanks for the advice man. I'll keep it in mind as I come to a decision. And I am enjoying Biola.
