Orthodoxy

I'm reading "Orthodoxy" right now by G.K. Chesterton with a few other guys. It's an incredible book. More on it later. I found this article online regarding the book, and I thought it was pretty cool. It's about a hollywood director that loves the book too and it has shaped the way he does everything.

(Thanks to Looking Closer for the link.)

  3. roy - yes it would be interesting. In fact, let's do it this Wednesday

Michael - Yeah man, it got a ton better than the first time I read it. I think it was the combination of where I was in life and the fact that I was reading it alone. The guys that I'm reading it with now (Roy, Evan, Ethan, Bailey) all bring great insight from what they are getting out of it, and that in turn helps me enjoy it more.

  4. thanks for the article......this guy is a friend of Jeffery Overstreet(looking closer blog). If you liked this article you should pick up Jeffery Overstreet's book "Through A Screen Darkly". A very thoughtful read on film and the role of a Christian in the arts.
